On this memorial, a special salute to the service men and women of the United States of America, one nation under God. A special salute to their sacrifices and risks they take so that the rest of us can have the freedoms we take for granted. A special salute to the families that send their loved ones to the front. Special salute to all the support personnel that stay in the background yet make sure that the soldier get the best backup to succeed in his or her mission. A special salute to all the auxiliary services like signals, engineering, logistics, medical teams supporting the front facing soldiers.
American soldier has been a beacon of help thru out the century. I don’t know of any other army in the world that has monuments dedicated to them outside their countries.
